i pictured two together because they are perfect opposites to each other.

the Red Ring is powered by RAGE and HATE.
while the Violet Ring is powered by LOVE.


they are as different as DAY and NIGHT.
yet, oddly..they can go so well together.

Especially if your RAGE is fueled by LOVE
(Like when Razer became supercharged when Aya was nearly killed by Manhunters.)



on a more personal note, these emotions are key focus points for my 'Lantern's Light' fanfiction.
which shows a Green Lantern being conflicted over his feelings for Powerpuff Girl 'Buttercup'

Deep down, he LOVES her with all his heart.
but, he can't help but feel ENRAGED at the harsh treatment she put him through.

the power of LOVE and HATE is struggling for dominance.
and, his WILLPOWER can only protect him from it for so long..
